Gateway Workshops offers hot stone massage courses for the full body and is also pleased to present a new unique Hot Stone Reflexology Massage Course. With the ever-growing popularity of hot stones, more and more facilities require their staff to have Hot Stone therapy training.
This Hot Stone Reflexology course will teach you how to combine an Intensive Reflexology treatment with Hot and Cold stones into a relaxing and deeply rejuvenating full body treatment.
With step-by-step instruction on how to give a complete Holistic Stone Reflexology treatment using warm and chilled stones.
This course is only taught at our Hertfordshire venue, this is just 30 mins by train from Kings Cross Central London and our Manchester Venue.
This course is accepted by the Association of Reflexologists, FHT, Embody, Beauty Guild and The CMA.
PRICE
One day Accredited Certified & Insurable Course - £110.00
Certificate given on the day of training and a full manual. You can use this massage with the general public and charge for this therapy with our training.

This is a one day Diploma Practitioners Course - No case studies required

Products used
Our courses offer the opportunity to train in the technical aspects of application of the materials required for your chosen course, without losing valuable practical time trying to sell you products. We show you how to effectively use the product to achieve fantastic results, that will build your client list and your business.
Our certification is not brand specific. In some cases you insurance may be invalid if you train with a branded product detailed on your training certificate and you then change to another brand. This also allows us to offer our training courses at a lower cost allowing you to spend what is right for you on the necessary products rather than buying unnecessary and costly equipment.
Some of the beauty courses have kits available to buy on the day enabling you to continue to build your confidence and skills immediately upon your return home.
Your tutor will advise you if a kit is available for your course, when confirming your booking. Some kits may require payment in advance and other may be available for purchase on the training day.

All our massage courses are insurable and accredited by the professional bodies, FHT, Embody (CthA), CMA and The Beauty Guild.
This course is also accepted by the Association of Reflexologists.

Hot Stone Reflexology Course Content
Experience how the heat from the stone quickly opens the reflex pathways with little or no discomfort to the client. This Hot Stone Reflexology technique is extremely relaxing for the client and also provides relaxation and healing with less work for the therapist.
Learn the proper handling technique of the stones through a powerful reflexology treatment. Working on the Reflex points of the feet along the meridians to restore, balance and rejuvenate the whole body.
Whilst the feet are worked Hot and Cold stone wraps are placed around the body to induce complete relaxation (without the need to undress), activating energy points and stimulating drainage leaving the client’s mind clear and offering effective long-term benefits to body and spirit.
This therapy lasts for one hour and the tutor will advise you about charging your clients as well as insurance cover information if you are a new therapist on the day of training.

They are so confident that one day is adequate for many of our courses (due to the small numbers they teach) that if they feel you need to come back to repeat the course, you can do this free of charge.

We take deposit payments for courses by credit or debit card online or alternatively you can pay over the phone or by cheque/postal order. The deposit is taken off the course fee.
We take only up to 6 people per class for our one day courses (8 for Indian head massage) it will show how many places are left for each date showing and it updates live on our site as someone books so you know how many places are left available.

13 CPD course points has been awarded for this course by the beauty guild - please check with who you registered with for their guidelines on how many points they award for one day courses as they all differ.

How to Book - Scroll to the bottom of this page select a venue of interest and you will be taken to the dates available - all you have to do is select the date you wish to book and follow the easy instructions.
You can book 24hrs online with a credit or debit card using our safe World Pay payment system. A small deposit will secure you chosen place.
If you wish to pay the deposit by cheque please fill out a booking form with your details first and you will be taken to the cheque payment page with further information.
Final payment is 14 days before the course or 4 weeks if it is an ITEC course - details will be emailed to you for this by the tutor once you have booked & paid your deposit.
For last minute bookings (you can book the evening before) you can pay cash or cheque on the day. Due to small classes places are only booked once the deposit has been paid & it is on a first come first served basis, early bookings are advised due to limited places.

A reminder: You do not need to take anything with you to the class, all massage couches, chairs, towels and equipment are all provided. You do not need to wear a therapist tunic or whites - comfortable clothing is fine.
You do not need to take a model with you as you will work with another student on the day of training, the class runs with 2 or more people booked on and you can book 24 hours before the start date if you wish. Early bookings are advised to secure your place to avoid disappointment, due to the small numbers taken for each class ensuring you individual attention.
