What to expect on a Gateway Course

1. Did you find our web site easy to use? We appreciate there is a lot of information to digest, however we provide this so you are fully informed. We do the research so you do not have to, which we hope you found helpful.

Have used this website for years now. I think it is very easy to use and navigate around.

2. Did you find booking this course straight forward?

After all these years, Gateway still has the personal touch because I was able to book 3 courses direct with Gateway as my time was limited. Sometimes you start out with a company in the early years and as they get bigger and bigger they lose the personal touch with their customers.

3. Where did you hear about us?

As I say, I have used Gateway for a lot of my courses some years ago. Have now forgot how I heard about Gateway but it could have been roaming on the internet.

4. What course did you attend?

The last course I attended with Gateway was The Seated Acupressure.

5. What feedback about your course would you like to leave?

The course for me was really to update and certificate the fact that I could perform Seated Acupressure - as I had already done it before (somewhere else). It was a great course. The course brought back memories of the first time I had done SA (it was then called Onsite Massage) and it also gave me some new moves which I have incorporated + I am now certificated in this particular skill.

7. Please leave us your feedback about your tutor (positive or negative let us know!)

It was the smallest class yet - just two of us and it was fantastic - as always!

8. What venue did you attend? Please leave your feedback about this venue

I have now moved out to Hertfordshire (have lived in London all of my life) and it was great to find a venue in Welwyn Garden City, HERTS and it is good to see more venues popping up around the country.

9. What other courses would you like us to offer?

Still working my way through your vast range but thinking on - how about herbal medicine or something like that.

10. Did the course you attended live up to expectation? Would you consider attending another course with us, if not tell us why.

I usually have high expectations from course provider. Since I have been with Gateway I have not been disappointed.

11. What made you decide to book with Gateway?

The range of courses; their tutors (I have not yet thought - what on earth am I doing here? Even though I had already done the Onsite Massage/SA Course I still learned something new. Most importantly, is the fact that I can call Gateway and always get a solution to whatever the problem may be. At one point I even contacted Gateway as I was hosting a pampering evening and required some therapists in my local area. Guess what - they supplied me with names! How great was that!?

12. Did you get confirmation of the course you booked from your tutor by email, within 3 days of booking? Was the tutor easy to contact before and after your course if needed?

I think all was ok. Helen usually gets back to you within 24 hours via email - this is plainly stated so there is no problem.

13. Did you know that Gateway has a on-line shop and offers: Discounted Massage tables, Hot stone heaters, Meditation CD's and Massage Books. Also FREE Health Checks and Natural Supplements? We also have information about therapist insurance (discounts available) therapist massage magazines and where to advertise your services all on our web site.

Yes, I have bought my massage bed from Gateway and have a few more items to purchase as well.

14. Did you know Gateway has a FREE monthly newsletter, What do you think to our newsletter if you receive it? If you wish to receive this you can subscribe on the home page of our web site. The link is on the left hand side near to the bottom. Be the first to hear about new courses & all our news with interesting features, prizes & updates free each month.

Have been subscribing for a good few years now and always make time to read it. Including printing it and reading it on public transport!

15. Any other comments you would like to leave us?

Having used Gateway for many years now - I think that speaks volumes with the fact that I return time and time again to them for the courses provided and their tutors. Gateway provides a quality service to Therapists to continue to update and add to their skills. Am more than happy to continue in this vein.

16. Did you find our manuals useful? We pride ourselves in putting together a great manual which we hope you found beneficial. Where you able to buy a DVD for the course attended on the day (if available) to help you remember the technique learnt? The manuals are great and I love the fact that you can now purchase a DVD - what a great idea!

17. Would you be ok for us to feature your comments on our feedback page of our web site? Your comments have been taken on board and will help us to improve our service and your feedback will also be passed onto the tutor to let them know of any issues or what a good job they are doing! Any negative issues will be investigated immediately.

It's ok but may be a bit too gushing for some! It is not often that one is able to find such a wide range of services and help from one source. Gateway do courses where you can purchase dvds; the website gives you access to insurance cover; you can purchase items for your therapy i.e., hot stones etc. There are courses for Marketing for Therapists as well as How to develop your practice in the financial climate. It is like a One Stop Shop for anyone wishing to start their business as well as those of us who (unfortunately) are taking a little longer to get there. I am definitely impressed!
